While earning his B.S. degree in Marketing Administration from the University of Alabma, Hugh began his career with the security industry in 1966. After a number of years as President and owner of Alabama Protective Services, he joined ADS Security in 1990. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Alabama Protective Services from 1990-2001, when he assumed the position of Vice President of Marketing Development for ADS Security, until late 2005, and then he assumed the position of Vice President and District Sales Manager, a position he held until his retirement in 2006.
Successfully attained budget target goals for profitability, customer retention and recurring revenue growth while supervising sales, administrative and technical personnel in two geographic locations with an annual budget of over $1 million.
Over thirty years of experience in planning and developing sales and management seminars for all levels of personnel in the electronic security industry.
Recruited, hired and developed successful sales and technical personnel throughout his career who became ADS Security President's Club winners. He achieved ADS President's Club - Outstanding Sales for twelve consecutive years and was inducted into the ADS Security Hall of Fame in 2001.

Created a highly effective customer service team made up of sales, technical, and administrative personnel.

Program Director and Treasurer for the Alabama Alarm Association, gaining experience in planning and development of annual trade shows and conventions. Major responsibilities included budgetary items, publicity, program format, scheduling seminar speakers, providing meals, lodging and entertainment, selling exhibit spaces and coordinating all functions for the conventions.

Taught an entrepreneurial course dealing with small business models. Major Emphasis: Employee/Employer Relations, Problem Solving, Financial Planning, Sales, Advertising, and site visits with actual small businesses for group interaction with their owners and managers.

Donald Williams

Don began his career in the electronic security industry with Phillips-Doby Security in 1977 as an electronic technician. In 1994 he purchased and led the company through a very dynamic growth period (from 500 customers to over 3900) prior to the company sale to Interface Security in 2004. Don remained with Interface Security for 18 months as General Manager during the transition period.
Was involved with a Phillips-Doby team that won numerous awards from the First Alert Professional Organization in both technical and sales fields.
Served on the President's Advisory Board for Honeywell's First Alert Professional Dealers Group for five years.
Served as President of the Mississipppi Alarm Association, which led a successful campaign for the passage of the State of Mississippi's first Alarm Licensing Law in 2006.
